Board Meeting Recap – May 21, 2013

Hello Everyone,

Highlights from this meeting include authorization for the purchase of a recycling asphalt hot patcher, which will allow village staff to fill potholes and better maintain roads all 12 months of the year. ¬†The previous equipment had temperature limitations that meant staff couldn’t fill potholes during the depths of the winter months. ¬†Additionally, this new patcher will use recycled asphalt – which will save residents thousands of dollars per year.

Other topics included discussion of the Carpenter Park master plan and a vote on allowing honey bee hives in the village.
