Board Meeting Recap – April 30, 2013

Hello Everyone,

There were two big topics discussed and voted on at this meeting – a resolution to writing off nearly $400,000 in unpaid ambulance bills dating from 2008 – 2010 and an increase of two cents a gallon in the motor fuel tax.

Regarding the ambulance bills, the village previously employed a third party billing company to collect these debts.  They could not collect the debt and didn’t do what I personally would consider to be a satisfactory job in attempting to Read more of this post


Board Meeting Recap – April 16, 2013

Hello Everyone,

Great news came out of this particular board meeting as we officially transitioned police chief Alan Popp to the role of Public Safety Coordinator where he will oversee both the police department as well as the fire department, which was recently vacated with the retirement of Chief John Schuldt.

Board Meeting Recap – April 2, 2013

Hi Everyone,

There was a good turnout for the meeting thanks to some concerned Dundee Crown faculty, parents and students.  They came to express their support for the current student liaison officer, who is scheduled to rotate out of the position soon.  Officer Gallison has done an incredible job in this role over the last 5 years and those in attendance wanted to make sure the Board knew about it.
